I got 4 out of 8 hens. They have just recently started laying. Do hens lay in the winter?

ONLY 2 from 28 ... they are 25 wks old.. either the rest are slacking OR they are laying in the woods

1 out of 18 - granted, only 4 are laying at this point. They are 20 weeks old.

*5* out of 4! (found Fifi's egg in the straw late last night--that's what I get for sending my reluctant kids to check in the rain, lol! A half-arsed job)

And I want MORE chickens! Why, that's just plain greed.
