Got my first!
One of my OEGB laid her first egg. Not my first ever but my first in years, since I didn't have chickens for the past six years after moving to AZ.

Generally we have been getting 4 or 5 eggs per day from 6 hens for a few weeks now. The girls started laying in the middle of August I believe, we bought them at 16wks and they started laying a few weeks after we bought them and got them settled in the new coop. Is this good, will I ever get six? Doyou think I have a slacker? They are young SL Wyandottes, and I'm just curious. I know one hen lays every morning at about 9:30, but as for the rest, they aren't as consistant so I don't know which ones are laying.

6/6 today! Looking forward to my 7 baby girls to start laying. they are 15 weeks old on Wed, and they are finally starting to grow combs and wattles... so it wont be toooo much longer!

sadly none, My first egg was 3 days ago and ever since the first one there has been no more. !!

and i didnt even get to eat my First egg either, it had no shell

7 from 15 today. 5 white, 2 brown, and 7 rhode island red slackers that will be getting new home soon if they dont lay eggs soon. lol.
