We had a lot if crows this year but I haven't seen them around my little ones at all.Do you have a local crow population? Remember my thread Dear crows, this means war‼ from this summer, i had crows sneaking into the duck-house, breaking the egg shells and drinking the content.
What is upsetting me is that she's only taking them from princess, whose the most timid.So you have an egg eater? Not an easy fix. I had a chicken hen who was an egg eater. I had to stay a step ahead of her and make sure to pick up every egg early. And check many times a day for late layer eggs
She would team up with her sister Earthquack, both would enlist the newbies Fluffy and Flauschi and then call in the murder-crows for reinforcement. It would be a real mess!Would she eat a 5-6' one?
Mine will give a very wide birth to a really long blk snake. But young ones get scarfed up quick.
