How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Twenty-three eggs today and one soft-shelled egg that suddenly appeared behind Katharina Duck. She was a bit lethargic today, but gobbled down the fresh salad i handed her. It might just have been the weather, a front with severe Thunderstorms came through this evening… ⛈

I hope it does not become a regular thing. 6 eggs today and no softshell . If we did not have the puppies in the house, I would bring Quackers in for a few days of layer feed and warm baths in a private bathtub to get her better. Most of the time she is her normal self with her head bobs and clucks. Just watching her behavior you would not think she is on an irregular egg laying schedule.

I never see her eating shell . No eggs from her today. Two from her two flock mates. A surprise from the young flock this evening. 6 eggs from four ducks. Three consecutive days of 4 for 4 from them. I know that no eggs were overlooked from their coop.

1 duck egg and my daughters chicken layed its first egg. So yay, getting lots of eggys again!

9 I have so many slackers. Also finally getting some response to my fertile egg flyers. But they all want adult ducks. So much work goes into my adults, I'm not interested. And they have names.

I know what you're talking about! - I still have not purchased that incubator…

I don’t mind incubating and even brooding for a week or so. I just don’t have a place for them after that.
