I will just as long as @Miss Lydia doesn't mind. I'm sure she wouldn't since she's the duck whisperer.

Looking at ducklings is much better than candling eggs. Which is all I have for now.

2 eggs today. Wife tells me the Pekin was sitting on the nest but she did not lay an egg today. I believe the dux have hatched a plan to drive the Huuumon crazy by rotating who is pretending to be broody. Now I want to snatch the eggs up and put them in the ‘bator. Who cares about the cute ducklings following their mom around. I do not think it will happen.

Out of my 8 hens I got 4 eggs today. I had to get a new nest box to accommodate them all! Yesterday I got a tiny wind egg from one of my EEs and it was not yolkless like I thought: it had a tiny, undeveloped one. We fried it

We gave away thirty on Sunday, used some for baking and are down to 4 dozen now. Word is getting out. Maybe some help with feed costs or bartering is in our future .

I got 10 eggs today from my chickens and and 11 from my ducks everyone except 3 of my chickens are laying!

@Miss Lydia one of the ducklings has a tan and black bill. I saw it popping out of the egg I'll show everyone once they start hatching. I told my husband I can't resist getting ducklings.

I thought I could hold out and not get any.

Yesterday was a bad egg day. We got 3 total that included the chickens we usually get 9 a day, not sure what's going on.
