I've been getting about an egg a day from, I think, two different ducks laying ~every other day for the last few weeks. It was ten below here last night and their house is unheated and unlit so I'm happy. My Ancona and my Silver Appleyard are both are showing mottled bills. I think one of my khaki campbells laid her first egg of 2020 this morning. It was a smaller egg and she was sitting smugly on a straw bale near the egg. She and the other ducks (Saxony, KC etc) still have dark, solid-colored bills. They are all craving greens like crazy.

Today 1-30 only 2 duck eggs. But it’s okay the years still young.
