How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Here are some of mine. I have Pekins and a muscovy. I want a silver duck so bad or maybe white with black. I'll see what pops out of these eggs. They aren't mine, but I get a choice of 3 if I want. I get first pick since I used my incubator and my time to do all the work. I didn't ask for anything so I think it's fair. It was 32 eggs and 23 are in lockdown.

Don't mind the mess I'm the background it was when we were building their coop and insulating it.

And Coco always puts he head feathers up into a mohawk every time she gets excited

I want a silver, lilac, or blue. I was Going to order them as call ducklings but it seems that I can’t have them shipped to New York this year. I might get a blue out of these eggs. I am hop I don’t hatch tons of white ducklings in this batch but we will see.

I have no clue what's going to pop out of these eggs. Some are mint green and some are white. He showed me pics and it was hard to tell the exact breeds but we have it narrowed down to what we think they are.

I hope you get what you're looking for. I just want silver, blue, or something other than white I'll cry if they're all white.

I'm having such a rough time with losses. I lost a bantam chick that I bought from TSC. It was pretty weak. Now my silver sebright isn't looking so good.

I feel like if I get more birds they'll just pass away

I don't blame you, FC. How discouraging! But you are a conscientious flock keeper. Sometimes this stuff just happens. try again--keep what he promised you. You enjoy them while they're with you. It's hard, but when it's time, the spirit returns to the One who gave it. No good thing can be truly lost--and certainly not forever.

I told my husband to wake me up at 4 am if there's ducklings in the bator. I don't want to miss them hatching. This is my first time ever doing ducks. I could see their bills inside the eggs and I could hear them talking.

I try to avoid having white ducks. As in I haven’t got any duck breeds that come in white. They just aren’t my fancy. I don’t mind non solid white ducks though. Then again I might be strange

I am also not a fan of white chickens/ducks... or white eggs. It’s just not my thing

I hatched some last year. Ohmygoodness they're sooo adorable. I'll bet there's a nice variety in those little packages. Can't wait to see the pics!

We love our duck eggs almost more than the chickens. That's why I want more females. Plus they're hilarious. I watch mine all the time. I have a jumbo Pekin who runs and it's so funny because of her size.
