She I vent sexed it so I for sure know it's a she. I'm actually going to double-check before we leave and drop off the other ducklings. I don't want males.

My husband wanted a dark duckling with the marks around the eyes, but the one that he picked was a male I almost got really worried and then I realized that there was another one!

I only sexed about 7. There were 4 Drake's and 3 ducks. So 50/50 I assume.

my hatches are going ok I think. Saw movement in the welshie surprise eggs last night. And the call duck eggs seem to be moving along. Due date for the first hatch is March 30th so I should be able to lock down on the 27th I think. The calls are due three days later.

My payment I think was worth it I'm sending him some chicks too from the eggs I hatched.

One. My drake is still being a jerk about the eggs. Day before yesterday he was my little snuggle butt. Yesterday, he turned into Mr Hyde. I knew they got hormonal in the spring but thought it was gradual. It's like a flipped light switch. Those are his eggs and I can't have them. If the hens had hands they would be scratching their heads.
