Can’t work on the new duck house because it’s raining. I am going out of my skull with having to not touch the eggs. Very hard to do for me. This was why I had the duck house project so I could stay busy while they hatched. But nooo it just had to rain!!!!
Very cool boxes. I have some made of plywood but since I only have one duck laying I haven't given her a box. I probably should.

It’s hatch day and equally maddening! I was hoping that these babies would start hatching yesterday or Saturday but nope they want to make me wait.
That's true, just now the ducks were still out prowling about. I had to remind them that their good brother duck & cousin guinea made an early trip to heaven by way of nighttime owl visitor. They went right into their covered pen then!
