2 eggs today. Now just waiting for Ebony’s eggs to come up fertile.

I just candled the eggs I put in the incubator from Wilamina my welsh all came up fertile so far. Even though I pulled most from the fridge again.

2. Brandy will soon have big enough eggs for the bator. This morning her little eggs made Chile cheese omelets.

Took an egg from the geese since it looked like it must've been pushed out of the nest in the night. Ice cold but not frozen, fairly clean, clear on candling. So I ate it for breakfast. I didn't count the eggs in the nest. I wonder how many can be sat on at once? I wonder when they'll start sitting and how many of them will participate. I wonder if they'll kill me next time I go into the shed...

17 chicken, 3 duck & 1 guinea egg so far today. My coturnix lay later in the day, usually 2 or 3 eggs there (I've got 3 hen).

Got my two.

Finally it seems as if Ebony and Houdini are mating (finally caught them in the act). So here is to crossing my fingers. On a few fertile eggs from them this year.
