How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I am getting 1 duck egg about 2X a week now it's one of my older Runners since it's blue. 1 bantam cochin egg every other day.

I hate to admit it but I bought eggs Monday can't even remember when i had to buy eggs.

Well I bought organic free range so hopefully They will taste about the same. Haven't used any yet.

My eight Swedish gray hens were hatched in May, and everyone kept telling me that they probably wouldn't lay until spring, but they started up in September, and we're getting four or five eggs a day. Amazing!

Five from the young ones and one from the older K/C. I still have one laying in the afternoons .

After a really good weekend with up to eleven eggs on Sunday, we're back down to just five today. I do really hope that the Fall Ducklings will start to lay this year and don't wait until next spring.

I noticed that many of my ducks have developed little »pouches« at their back ends and they are waddling more than before. Agree, looks like a long cold winter…

My 6 young females are gifting me 3 eggs a day now. I think winter is here.
There are 11 chickens with the vast majority over 3 years old. I feel lucky to get even one egg from them.
I have 8 young birds (9 and 10 weeks old). Winter solstice MIGHT see them start laying.

Eleven eggs today! - It seems the fodder that i have started to feed them five days ago is working its magic…
