How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I haven't bought eggs in years. I would think they would be short in the flavor department.

It depends on where you buy: I swapped some duck eggs for some chicken eggs last year with the neighbors and the eggs were ok tasting. Just chicken eggs, not duck eggs.
But then i tried some scrambled eggs in a hotel for breakfast and
It tasted like ground up cardboard box!

I received 3 wonderful big eggs from my sweet quackers today.

Have you tried the cat-food trick?

Not cat food but they get dry dog food daily along with their meal worms. I guess it's age since mine are not young girls any longer. So I get to make the walk of shame again to the egg department.

So far just seven, but i can see #8 in the grass from here. It seems the young ducks are late layers.
