I’m still enjoying following this thread, despite my three having declared that they are taking a 6 month egg-laying vacation this year because they “deserve it”.

TEN yesterday! The baby barred rocks that hatched on June 24 are all starting. Fingers crossed they keep laying all winter. They’re as big as the wyandottes hatched April 13, although part of that might be fluff.

Persistent 10 or 11 eggs every day, many of them green, so some of the young Indian Runners have started to lay this year. No Dino eggs, no pea-eggs all perfect sized and dirty like duck eggs…
