Separate the yolks from the whites, whip yolks until they begin to build texture and slowly add the sugar and arrowroot mixture. When the mixture is homogeneous, whip in the rum and then let it rest in the refrigerator for one hour.Awesome!
Six eggs, one cup of spiced rum, one tablespoon arrowroot starch, one cup of palm sugar and one quart of heavy cream.
Get the best cream that you can. Always avoid cream that has the artificial gums added; they attack your gut lining.

Oh, don't forget the fresh ground nutmeg. The plastic based grinders work just fine; I have both types, but the metal ones have really gotten expensive.
