Muscovy have started laying again, after sitting three infertile nests *glares at impotent drake*
Four eggs so far, one today. Yummy.

My girls have started laying in the past week or so. Either last night was the first night they all laid, or somebody has gotten good at hiding their eggs, because between the 4 of them they gave me 5 eggs this morning!

Once I get this chick out of the incubator (my daughter's, a bantam cochin, was bullied and starved while she was away so I'm giving it heat and lotsa food and water and love) I want to plop a few in there and see if Apollo, the drake, just had a bad spring and is actually fertilizing the ducks now.

I dont know if mine are ever going to get over the molt with this heat. I could make a pillow with all the duck feathers in the pen area.
