2 unusable (one laid from the roost and another with butt pointing outside the nest because she refused to use a nest that didn't already have a chicken in it, both broken )

10 hens and I know one is laying in a huge bunch of bushes, but I have yet to find the eggs

I always have to feel around. I think they like to make me work for it

Zero. Two broody hens, one over the hill hen, 2 I guess are molting or in broody sympathy. 5 polish that are not laying yet or very very good at hiding their eggs. Oh and the rooster and now another rooster that I just figured out was a he. He does not mate, crow, lay eggs or anything else except be cute and "talk/sing song" to my hubby who adores him. Meanwhile I'm going to run out of eggs to eat soon.

Got 1 so far today but my two gals just started laying the other 4 girls have a couple more months to go until they start .

Found 4 eggs under some low braches of the tree today. Guess my Polish are laying!!
