For those of you that sell your eggs, do you find that a certain color is preferred? Any colors that are disliked? For example, are people weirded out by green eggs? What about mixes? If someone buys a dozen eggs do they care if they get 4 brown, 5 white, and 3 with speckles?


We don't have enough that we're selling any yet, but are looking to get more hens and I figure it might be good to plan ahead - in the end, I don't know if it will effect our decision that much or not.

It doesn't matter to my customers. Just the fact that they are getting fresh farm country eggs, is what they want the most. Although I did have one person that wanted eggs from 1 particular breed. I pretty explained to her that wasn't happening. I wasn't going to babysit that 1 breed and collect their eggs. Seriously lady? Eggs from 1 certain breed?
