I got 45 yesterday.

What time of day do you all collect your eggs?

Ok, I came home this morning to feed the girls, checked their egg box and lo and behold, late in the day yesterday one of em layed a second egg for the day. Expecting to be a 2 or 3 egg day now.

One other thing I noticed, if they lay eggs that are smaller in overall size than their average, the next day I can expect a fairly large egg to show up. Is this normal?

Usually around 4:30 in the afternoon. My 15 layers spread it out over the entire day. As the days get longer I may even stretch it out a little later. Those long daylight hours are when you get those record laying days when everyone gives an egg!
