How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

3 out of 4 today. The past several days I’ve had 4 out of 4 so it’s ok for my Cheryl to take a break.

Six eggs today. One girl decided that she needed a break. I'm glad my chickens lay early in the morning. I was hungry for breakfast at 6am, no eggs in the house. There were 2 eggs waiting for me in the nest box, but I had to slide my hand under two chickens to get them! They were nice and warm, too.

The ladies out a bit later. Trying to finish mowing the lawn before 3 days of rain. Neighbors may think I’m weird, but I will finish via headlamp. Needed to get my daily

chicken fix!

9 yesterday and 11 today.
Hubby had to reach under one of the RIRs to get the eggs yesterday so we thought she was going broody. She was up and about doing her thing today so maybe she was just role-playing.
As an aside, I decided to toss extra sunflower seeds in the raised beds. There were seedlings already there but I thought that a few more wouldn't hurt.
