How many here are actual backyarders vs. Farmers?

Backyarder. ~.048 acres (~2100sf) out back, a bit more on the sides, and no front yard. I have to get creative to cram all the plants, trees, and pets in.

Backyarder.... but my backyard is seventeen acres of mixed woodlot and small pasture. Only have a few birds, eleven barred rocks, nine brown leghorns, one rhode island red and an ornamental that was a drop off!!! But she's the old boss hen!!! I've got five lavender and pearl keets to othat are still tiny and in the brooder.
We had rabbits for a year or so and they went to the great carrot patch in the sky!!!!
We have dogs and cats and can hunt deer, squirrels and predators on our place or hunt the adjoining acres that we have written permission on.

A small first year garden rounds it out pretty much.

I grew up on a crop farm as a little fella with the occasional beef or hog to butcher, along with chickens and rabbits.

"Town" gets closer and closer every summer and before long, I'll pretty much be a suburbanite.... but that's why we have another little hobby place on the other side of the ridge (Crowley's Ridge).
