Well, I've caught a hatching bug, and I'm wondering, with cartons, how many eggs of each kind of bird can I hatch in a forced air LG? Mainly curious about regular chicken, bantam chicken and different quail eggs. I know it's supposed to hold about 30 regular chicken eggs, but that's if they're laying down. Plus, I'd love to know how many coturnix or button eggs would fit using a carton method and also how many if they were laid down. Thanks guys.

Zomg! They're too cute! Come on Saturday! Crap, I get the incubator on Saturday, but won't have anything to put into it... Hrmm, what a conundrum. I have to be careful, because I have silkie eggs scheduled for the week of 2/23, but I don't think I can let the bator just sit there empty that entire time, it would be such a shame, lol.

If you had the egg turners, it could hold 41 chicken or duck eggs, and 120 quail. It can hold more than that without the turner

DipsyDoodleDoo had a post a week or so ago that showed hers with 48 duck eggs in it!
