how many is to many?

I am trying to get my blue bantam Cochin hen to go broody. I was wondering how many standard size eggs could I put under her and still have a good hatch?

I would say as many as she can cover. I had a serama hatch four Brahma eggs recently. It was so cute watching the chicks that quickly became larger than mom, scooting under her!
