how many mealworms can you feed 13 week old silkies?

I have studies this site I gave my 3 silkies grapes, yoghurt, oats and gave one of them the runs, so stopped feeding those now only in moderations. I read that they love mealworms so I bought some and wow did they all love them. They ate heaps so can 13 week old silkies eat to many? Can I harm my chooks I have had them since they were a week old

I think you have the right idea with moderation. A handful is a nice treat, but I wouldn't stuff them. As long as they are getting grit so that they can digest the worms, the silkies should be fine.

I bought crickets last weekend for my week-old chicks. One figured it out, the other didn't.

One chick scarfed 10 crickets in about 5 minutes. I could just imagine her doing a Homer Simpson impression: lounging on a sofa in a food coma, going:

Mmmm... crickets... aalalalalalalaaaaa <drool>
