How many of my 3 barred rock hatchlings are roos?

I'd say all three are roos. That's my uneducated guess

To answer Qs - there is only the one rooster, no other potential fathers (he looks like he has some barred striping in him but I am a novice so could definitely be wrong). All of the moms were definitely barred rocks, though I got them at a feed store so they could be crosses (?).

The dad looks like he does have small muffs, and (like you said) it looks like he has some barring too. Maybe the dad had one EE parent (from the muffs mostly) and one barred parent (from the barring, straight comb, and yellow legs). Not saying that EEs can't have yellow legs.

Thanks - so if the dad is possibly a mix, then I can't really go off of the chicken calculator or depend on the barring to indicate roosters, right? I do agree that they seem large and have larger combs than pics of pullets I've seen that are that age. I do see little spur buds beginning on one of the dark ones, or else I'm imagining it!

We have some flexibility in finding the roosters homes (we are renting while house hunting since having returned to Austin but my brother-in-law has 10 acres and I can put a mobile coop up there). So, if it comes down to it I'll just keep them all there until they definitely all look like roosters and then try to find them a home (except one to keep for myself). They all seem very sweet so far. My daughter bathed them all last night and trimmed their wings and they were docile as usual. It was a poultry salon!

Yeah if the dad is a mix than the Chicken Calculator would not be accurate. I am not sure about the terms of genetic, but if the dad does have a barring gene then you will not have sexlinks. Males and females both could be barred.
That is cute that your daughter had her own little poultry salon.
