Here's our end of summer fish. Right out of the Red River. Released just fine.
We had to leave right after the pic was taken. You could see the sand blowing our way. Getting sand blasted on a river is not fun.
My husband is! He actually works for DNR for the State of utah, and graduated in fisheries and aquatic science. He's an avid fisherman and of course i'm dragged along sometimes! I have a lisence, but don't fish much myself! My 4 kids love to fish too!

Before our local fly-shop closed we had a weekly fly tying get-together with folks with all sorts of backgrounds and skill levels, it was great fun. If I ever get my garage cleaned out, I'd like to start hosting a monthly tying meeting in there. What kinds of flies to you like to tie? I'm big on streamers.
