I love fishing in Alaska. Lived in Faibanks for 5 years. Nothing like hooking a King on light tackle.

I'll be up in the fall hunting off the Haul Rd for bou.

Best of Luck

Awsome.yeah hooking a king is fun and tiring too.you should go trout fishing when you come down in the fall.good luck with your caribou hunt.

Fly fishing!! My DH and I hit the river as often as we can. My yorkie Gracie rides along in the back of my vest, she knows the game and gets really excited when we get one!!

You haven't fished until you catch a Cutthroat trout on the Snake River in Idaho!!

The worst day fishing is still better than the best day working!

We have a powerboat and fish offshore (when the ocean permits) on the Oregon Coast out of Newport April through September every year. We fish for bottom fish, salmon, tuna, halibut, set out traps for crab and dig clams. Hubby comes home from work and asks what colour of fish we are having for dinner

Sometimes we have venison, grouse (from the fall hobbies) or, of course, chicken! We feel so fortunate to have so much healthfull variety and the opportunities that Oregon and our lives provide.
