How many "packing peanuts" are you getting from ideal right now??

I had about 6 packing peanuts from my August Ideal chicks. One has turned out to be a very nice Crevcour (sp) hen!

None of mine came with marks of any type on their heads to distinguish them from the regular order.

Last February I got 8 Black Australorp Roo packing peanuts. (got $4 a piece for them too!!)

do they put JUST roos, or st run of what didnt sell. because i got 5 RIR roos and 3 pullets...almost 50/50

...i have a mute barred bantam cochin roo. haha

lucky me for the mute, i live in beverly hills and idk if they allow chickens

you can also ask Ideal to mark the males

I have ordered twice from them and have not gotten any extras.

If you don't want any packing peanuts, you can simply ask them not to include them...just be sure it's warm enough to ship without them! If you tell them not to include them, they won't.

Also, you could ask them to not send any more than X amount.

Same here, June and Sept of last year 11 chicks and 15 chicks in the orders and no packing peanuts at all.​
