How many people here like Buff Orpingtons?

my Buffs. I really want some Blues as soon as I can afford to buy some eggs to hatch or find somebody with chicks near me to sale.

I Really love my BO's as well. I have 7 ranging in age from 8 - 4 weeks and every one of them is sweet and easy to handle. Cute story to share about my youngest BO's:
I had just picked up my last batch of chicks for the year and put them in the brooder with the BO chicks which were nearly 3 weeks old. The BO's ran for their lives when they saw the new chicks(a couple of which are bantams!!) You would have thought I put a predator in there with them they were so worried. But they quickly settled and started to intermingle. One of the BO's however, must know that I am the one responsible for these little ones being there and always comes up to the side of the brooder when I peek in as if to say "you did this thing, now take me out and show me I am still your favorite!" So, of course, I put my hand in the brooder and she hops right on. She seems to be happiest when she is with me. And I love that about this breed. Even if you don't handle them a ton as chicks, they still allow you to pick them up and handle them without fussing too much. Not only that, but their beautiful rich buff coloring and heavy rounded shape is quite lovely. I also think they are a bit softer than my other chickens. Their feathers seem really really soft compared to my BA's or EE's. BO's are a breed that I would recommend to anyone. =P
