How many people ski? oh yea downhill or xc :P

my Dh wants to teach me. all i can tell him is- you know those people on americas funniest home videos that always fall on their butt/face/back/chest/elbow/ear? that would be me, so dont expect much. but we live within driving distance of brianhead utah, so i dont think i will be able to get my unathletic butt out of it this year.

I love skiing.

I was just thinking today about when I would be able to get over to Cannonsburg, which is a nice local ski area.

Oh thanks for reminding me I just had to change my title. I hear XC is fun but still I like downhill all the way.

X-C and Snowboard!
Ticks are you anywhere near Craftsbury? That used to be my favorite place to go to x-c races and stop at P&H on the way home...yum!

My wife and I cross country ski. We have some snowmobile trails we ski too from our house. Usually during the week we are alone on the trails and they are not heavily used stay groomed.

I downhill allot I go up north on trips during vacation just for that and also out west a few times. I am pretty good for a Maryland boy.

Well thats the only way to learn!
Its really not as hard as alot of people think!

I started skiing when boots were still lace-up! I stopped when I moved away from home. It was so darn expensive, and my DH isn't interested in trying it. (He's a boating guy.)

But when I skiied, I was dang good. My dad couldn't believe I could parallel ski without lessons - but I bet he was glad to not to have to pay for lessons for me.
