How many people truly have "Backyard" Chickens?

I have ONE acre with my house - dog house - hen house - shed

Live on 18+ acres and my chicken coop and organic garden is in my FRONT YARD . . .

Yes people drive up to my house and the first thing they see is my garden/chicken area and a great big deer/groundhog electric wire and plastic mesh fence over 6' tall

It is the SW exposure and one of the few areas not forested and it is well fenced cause I am surrounded by predators!

I have about 50 chickens on two rented acres. We actually live in a duplex!

My chickens have over 2 acres to roam and scratch around, but they choose to come up to my flower beds and dig... And to poop on my porches. They are backyard chickens!

I voted Half acre to an Acre. We actually have 1.2 acres.

We are just over a 1/4 acre in the capital city. We live near the airport so my roosters aren't near as loud as the airplanes that go over

yep. chickens roam freely in my cinderblock-fenced backyard. Total lot is about 1/10th acre.

Live in town so my girls live in just a back yard so mine are "backyard" chickens

We have 3000 acres but my 16 hens and 1 roo hang out in the backyard......backyard chickens!
