how many rings do you fill in a little giant incubator?

well I have only done one hatch and I about half filled all of them and didnt have a hydrometer in my lg with air but had a great hatch 7 out of 9.

It varies for everyone how much water they need to add. I add very little water to my incubators.....maybe 1/4 cup and it keeps the humidity at 30-35%. It depends on where you live and what your natural humidity is. Do you have anything to measure the humidity?

no i fill the 2 little tubes and the one in the middle almost to the top so not to spill over surface area not depth determines the humidity on day 18 you can add a small butter dish or any small pan to help increase for the hatch. i have also kept a spray bottle with warm water and sprayed thelm lightly but prefer the extria pan. I also have found when adding water a squrit bottle works great so as not to spill.

I fill all the sections in my lg and my humidity barely makes 40 which is almost too low. I try for 45% and 50% if I'm doing quail eggs which I am right now. I have no idea how anyone is suppose to hatch with this thing without adding sponges or extra water dishes. Every time I compare them I'm surprised at how much poorer the design of my lg is versus my hova.

It does depend but it's awful humid here most of the time and the lg still isn't enough. Even on a humid day I'll barely get it to hatching % filling all the sections of the tray. My hova I have at 50% filling one of the midsize sections. If I want to I can fill one or both of the small sections, the large section, and there are 2 midsize sections. It's extremely versatile and I've used it year round without having to do any modifications. Just fill a different part of the water tray.
