How many roosters do I need to keep.

I started off with 16 chicks of various breeds. Lost 2 to hawks and 3 to my neighbors weenie dogs. That leaves 11. 5 appear to be roosters (3 have started crowing). Will it hurt to keep all 5 or do I need to cull that down to 1 or 2 and do I keep the largest most aggressive or the cutest? The five roosters are: 3 Dominique, 1 bantam cochin (Elvis) and 1 EE. Hens; 2 Dominique, 1 EE and 2 Black Australorp. Help me Backyard chickens, you are my only hope.

I would recommend that you keep 2..in case something happens to one. You can always add a few more hens. I keep 2 of each breed..then I never have to look for an extra Roo unless I need a new bloodline added in.
