The back feathers. One looks like my nale pheonixes start to, the others all still look like my females. Granted different breeds, bug I think it doesn't matter since I think they're the same color. But one if the female resembling ones has that giant rose comb

Yeah, but it's back isn't as black and red patchy.

I dunno, I hardly can catch mine to look closely so maybe they look like girls before getting male colored

I've circled three that are probably males. Less sure of the one with a ? next to it, but I'm guessing it's a boy.

The ones i have marked also have very red combs for their age.... are they just a bit slower growing???
