I'm in Oklahoma, so we are overrun with scorpions! We just have to watch where we step, since we all go barefoot.

That's fascinating! Do you have any idea when she might have had them? How big are they? They seem kind of big, don't they?

Awesome on the clutch of Scorpion babies. they are totally adorable and deadly once that little pointer hardens.
little boogers dont know when enough is enough like the adults do.
as for feeding them you can get some pin head crickets and put in there once hey get eating on their own.
oh I get all squishy thinking about baby scorpions, I just loved my Emporer but it was male, never had a female it seems.

and I have a Scorpion Tattoo on my forarm, and a large Cobra on my upper arm .
The cobra tattoo got placed accidently between 2 muscles so everytime I flex my arm it looks like the hood opens, its way cool.
course being female most people frown on such tattoos.
hehe doesnt help a whole lot now tha I am over 50 and still think they are way too cool.

I am having a lot of trouble not melting every time I look in on them. LOL They really are adorable!!! Of course, baby anythings always are cute.

As for when she had them, it had to be within the past day or so but I am thinking right before we got home yesterday. I agree, they seem kinda big to me, too. I am pretty sure she is going to have more because she is sitting in the position they apparently i when giving birth, with her front legs making a cradle to catch them. She has her upper body slightly raised with her legs that way and she doesn't normally sit around like that.

This has been such a surprise!!! An exciting one, though. I hope she has enough for me to sell a few. Oh, and I will be getting some crickets here in a few minutes. Our only pet shop doesn't open until. 10:00. She eats well and I know she isn't hungry so I really hope that is enough to keep her from eating any more.

And just for the record, Gypsy, I think those tattoos sound way cool, too!!!!

Oh, I just realized sred asked HOW big they are.

I would estimate a bit over 1/2". And OMG she is right now having another one!!! I just went to check and can see it being caught in her little "leg cradle"!!!

OK, you got me..... I couldn't do it. You are a very loving mommy! Lucky son. Mine won't be getting anything like that for a pet. I would freak out and mush it! LOL This is coming from a woman who will grab live alligators out of a swamp too...Spiders and scorpions though...NO WAY!

However, when he first said he wanted a scorpion I almost panicked! That is one thing that has always creeped me out a bit! I was a nervous wreck with our first one but he was so sweet natured he taught me they are just another little creature I should love and not fear. So now, even with Fatso's nasty personality, I am not bothered. I look at it like I do when we have a hamster that bites. LOL
