I'm going to be incubating our first eggs this year. I mentioned in my intro thread that my first were going to be house chickens. My original plan was to have one chick and do everything I can to raise it to be a therapy pet, but if that didn't work out to just keep it as a pet, or put it outdoors if it wanted to be with the other chickens down the line.
Then I started to think, even though the chicken will have 4 other species near it to keep company 24/7, should I instead keep two house chickens?
Advantages or disadvantages to this possibility?
