How many straight-run bantam chicks to order to get 6 hens?

I was going to order straight run D Uccle's through Ideal. But since I really hate having to sell/give away animals I will no doubt fall in love with while they grow I am leaning more heavily towards MPC now.
Granted the only ones they have are the Mille Fluers and I really wanted self blue. But living where I am and having illegal pets I cant afford to be too picky

We shall see.

I ordered bantam cochins from Ideal in October, and got 5 pullets and 5 cockerels. Perfectly 50/50!

Its a function called a Binary combinatorial distribution function, I combined all of the possibilities from 6 to all female (with a 50% probability of any individual being female). It was fun.
