How many Trick or Treaters are you getting? or got?

We had maybe 25-30 and guess who had to sit out in the 30 degree weather with the wind makeing it even colder?? Me!

No one else wanted to do it... I didn't even get to eat any of the candy because it was solid from how cold it was outside..

I finally went inside and got me my big and heavy comforter (sp?) blanket and I even went out and got my white call hen because I was getting bored of sitting out there and wanted someone else out there with me. She kept me nice and warm and I kept her nice and warm too.

I guess it wasn't to bad, but I couldn't feel my feet or legs because they were numb from sitting out in the cold for so long.

We had, as usual, none...

My four year old had one long, all day long, temper tantrum and refused to dress up and refused to go out... Needless to say last night sucked, it really, really sucked!

I decided not to argue with him about dressing up to get candy, if he doesn't like his superman costume (he wanted Batman which we could not find) and refuses to be seen in it. Fine with me. He doesn't have any candy either.... he figured this out today and boy is he MAD!

I will never be mother of the year.

Does anyone ever stop to think about this....

Parents spend the whole year through telling their kids it's NOT okay to take candy from strangers....and one night a year telling them it's okay.

Is it any wonder most of us grew up to be warped?!

Your boy just learned about consequences. You very well may be "Mother of the Year". Good job!

I wish more parents would teach this way.

(We will ignore the screen name for now)
