Does anyone have a good recipe for cherry wine? The cherries I have are not the big black ones but the smaller red tarter type. I prefer a sweet wine.
Sorry but I don't.
Have you started making anything yet?
I prefer sweet wine as well.

I haven't yet. Been trying to gather supplies and such. But life keeps conspiring against me, w/ family and personal sickness (and hospitalizations) , and flooding my car being carless for a while, replacing it. Several other things going on, but I am making some progress, and have the cherries picked and in the freezer, ready to go as soon as my ducks are in a row, or at least in the same room. lolSorry but I don't.

I have made watermellon wine (most mellons too) but I never had to stir it past a couple of days. I did strain it after about 4-5 days; I found it a little bitter if I left it on the must too long. I'm curious to see how yours turns out.
You are right about stirring it too long. I did 2 days of stirring and that's it. It's in the final process now . Forgot to say that I started some Japanese plum wine yesterday? Anyone else ever try this kind? If so, how did it taste?
