How much are you paying for layer pellets?

At the local feed store Purina Layena is going for $14.00 per 50 lb bag and if you go to the mill you can get their layer pellets for $10.00 per 50 lb bag.

$11.50 per 50 lb bag (bought by the ton) for 20% protein Purina Layena.

How do you get 20 percent Layena? The only kind we have is 16 percent.​

I was paying $7.65 for a 50# bag of 16% crumbles. I switched to 18% crumbles at $8.55 for a 50# bag.

Sure am glad I don't live in Alaska!

FYI I e-mailed Purina and ask for a coupon for chicken feed. They sent me a 5.00 off coupon when you buy two 50lb bags...
