How much as everyone spent on eggs this Year ?

Hmmm...I'd have to add it up (yes, I keep track), but if I count all the postage paid for egg trades as well as eggs I've purchsed I'd guess it was around $400-500.

Nothing on eggs but about $35 on chicks. I have also sold $50 worth of chickens and sent seven birds to freezer camp.

Wish I had that kind of luck.
I've only spent $65 on eggs this year, they are due to hatch
tomorrow. Received 16 and only have 3 left in the bator.
Only 1 that I really expect to hatch. The other 2 look kinda
off.

hmm...25+25+12+15+15+10+20...122$ total? had to buy my first bator and accessories for them-150$ brand new first time coop w/run 400$... ish-out of 80 eggs 24 hatched! I am still owed 24 eggs back for a ROO not doing his job the right way :-) Im ok with it-paid for alot of test hatches of silkies n such-4 of those chicks I had to put down-so I have 20 left of silies-polish-light brahmas-barred rock-cochins, BO's ( my eggs)..5 are leaving this weekend for 45$...offsets the cost a little. I bidding on 2 auctions right now-I probably wont buy anymore-I think Im done incubating this year...expensive first year huh? Next year my goal is to only buy eggs that I will breed back into my groups...not such a huge mix because now Im torn between 5 different breeds!

roughly $50.00 on hatching eggs and twenty dollars on shipping. Got free chicks from Ideal which they were not supposed to deliver. One happy momma! I am hoping to get some of Tailfeather's Welsummer eggs and probably more of those Welsummer bantam eggs too from Dave or Andre if he has any to spare (which I doubt it). And Games for possible next year's hatching list for some of his Welsummer Bantams that he got from Andre.

And more Spitz eggs from Julie if I can afford what's left over for the year with the Welsummers.

And maybe some of those Amercuana bantams.
