How much batter in bundt cake pan

I took a peek at 1 hour, and glad I did. It was looking pretty brown. I let them cool about 10 minutes before removing them from the pans. I wonder if the extra time in the pans resulted in the cakes to continue cooking a bit. They looked awfully brown. Hopefully they aren't dried out. I plan to present the one with a lemon glaze, so maybe the dark color won't look so bad with the glaze.

I kind of wish now that I hadn't split the batter equally, but instead used 2/3 of the batter in the bundt pan and put the rest in a smaller pan like a loaf pan. They both look so short.

Oh Andi I think your cakes look great! I don't think they look short at all, but it's hard to tell with pictures I guess. Wow, I think you did a great job!
