How much do Coturnix chicks sell for?

Bobs here go for 1 as a chick too. Adults are usually 6 bucks. I dont much like bobs they are kinda wild I had a trio a long time ago and they would fly all over the place.

I wish we had a auction barn like that around here...I'd be gett'in fatter on cheap coturnix!! Course I'd buy alot of birds I shouldnt too. So far I have never had a bird on the place that I didnt hatch here, granted theres only been a few hundred so far. No sale barn cooties as of now. Just weight, I'll end up with some kinda bird Herpes monkey pox thats only passed thru the egg...

FOLKS OUT THERE ARE LOOSING MONEY ON BOBS.... YOU CANT HATCH A BOB CHICK FOR A BUCK.

Same here, I can't sell a thing except for chickens... Three white leghorn roosters and a welsumer pullet brought more than 23 coturnix did. The bobs wouldn't even sell, one person will buy them for almost nothing. I quit hatching bobs cause I was losing a ton.

I Just Flat Out Wouldnt Sell Them... If Thats The Case They Can Go To Camp Kenmore. Personally The Only Problem I Have With Selling Bobs Is I Dont Hatch Enough To Sell, I Hatch A Batch For Personal Consumption And A Few Lil Batches Throughout The Season But Many Of Mine Are Sold In Egg Form.

I smell what yer cookin' Bill, but actually I'm a biosecurity freak. I very rarely buy anything alive at the auction barn. I do however buy a crapload of farm equipment, and other junk that I'll probably never use. It's a great source for cheap welded wire and hardware cloth. I've got enough wire stockpiled to build a polar bear pen. I just had to buy these cortunix 'cause they looked so fat and healthy, and since I only have Bobs, I needed some cortunix to join in the fun with you guys and work on the Moby Quail project. Worse case scenario; I get bored with them, decapitate them all, and wrap them in bacon.
