how much do you charge for your eggs?

I am going to sell mine for $2.00 a doz. And for the ones that bring a carton with them I will give a .25 discount. This will keep me from having the headache of finding or buying cartons.

And I will explain to them to that if the cost goes up, I will have to go up to.

i have had people tell me to sell them for $3.00 a doz. but I don't think it would work in this area.

Maybe I'll go up to the Farmer's Market in Martinsville this weekend and see how much they sell them for. That's if anyone is selling them.

Later on "hippies" became associated with some more negative things because of rampant drug use and grooming habits among some things.

I think now people use that term to mean different things. I get called a hippie now and again, but mainly because I purchase organic produce, gave birth without drugs, and have chickens. But I shower everyday and do not do any drugs.

It depends on where you are; we sell ours a few cents less than the local grocery sells their cage-free eggs (they don't sell free range)...we don't grade ours by size or sort by color, so all our customers get a variety in every carton, which, so far, everyone likes...sort of adds novelty to it. And, we always give our customers trivia tips on eggs and chickens; the novelty thing again, and we're having fun with it. Right now, we are selling ours for $2.00 a dozen. Our customers bring us stacks of egg cartons without asking; it's sort of like, here, you need these, right?
