how much do you charge for your eggs?

My dh took four dozen to work with him and gave them to his co workers. He told them the first dozen was free but the rest were $2 per doz. LOL We have one reg. customer there each week now for 2 doz. eggs. I do not wash nor refrigerate them and the customer knows this and appreciates it. Takes a knowledgable person to know the benefits there.

I sell my chicken eggs for $2.00 a dozen. I also sell my duck eggs for $5.00 a dozen. But this past weekend we were at a flea market and they were getting $1.00 an egg for duck eggs and they sold out and people were complaining that they wanted some.

I sell my large for 2.00 a dz. and my mediums for 1.50. Everyone seems fine with these prices.

I guess it depends on where you live? I saw a sign along the road today saying, FRESH EGGS $2.00 so I don't feel bad about charging that much. I need a bunch more layers before I can put my sign out.

I live in a wealthy suburban neighbor hood because that is my parents to a tee I am the crazy farmer sun

I will be selling my eggs for 3$ a half a dozen because the free range/ natural eggs in the local grocery store are $6.75 a dozen and people will pay that here so why not

I think I will go up to $2.50 or $3 once my new pullets start laying this fall... All my customers save cartons for me and I have standing orders for 14 dozen/week, with occasionally an extra 8-10 dozen!

I have been selling my eggs for $2.50 a dozen
I have seven people that buys eggs from me.
I usually meet them at the feed and seed store.
I am not in the business of selling eggs but it helps pay for the feed.
I met four of my customers at the feed store.
A lady saw me buying scratch and start-N-grow.
She asked me, " Do you have any extra eggs to sell?'
She usually buys a dozen every week.
I just started selling eggs for $2.50 a dozen since the price at the store is almost $2.50 a dozen
All of my customers prefer "Fresh Yard Eggs."
