How much do you charge? Prices in your area?

I'm about three weeks from slaughter day, holy crap are those chickens big already! I'm asking 3.25 a lb. We will not be making very much money, and it has me curious. What do birds go for in your area? Our feed costs 14 dollars a 50lb bag for medicated. If your chickens go for less than 3.25 a lb, how much does your food cost you?

i charge 3.00/lb for my pasture raised meaties. it costs me $620 for a ton of certified organic feed (24%) which comes out to $15.50 for a 50 lb bag.

I sell my pasture raised broilers for $1.60/lb whole or $1.85/lb cut up. My 23% custom feed costs about $7/50lbs. I make about $2.50 per bird (3 1/2-4 pounders), a little more on bigger birds.
