I'm getting ready to post ads for my mixed Blue/Black/Splash Australorp and Australorp Cross eggs and wanted to get a good handle on pricing.

I'm seeing a lot of "barnyard mix" eggs for $8-12/dozen and wondered what people here think eggs from my flock would be worth.

At the moment the birds aren't separated or I'd definitely up the price well above the generic barnyard mixes, but I'm hesitating over whether to go with the $1 per egg/$10 per dozen I'm seeing a lot of or to go up to $15/dozen (maybe with a discount on an NR360 load? (which would work out to $25 instead of $27.50)).

Thoughts?

I sell my Silkie eggs for $5 an egg not necessarily by the dozen that way people can pick how many eggs they would like. I'm also not certified so that plays a factor so I can only sell within my state at least no shipping. Most professional breeders who are certified can be anywhere from $8 and up.
