How much do you sell your chickens for?

I would say you could sale the from the range of 4-7 dollars a pieace.

I can sometimes get $35 out of my well laying popular breeds like Buff Orpingtons and Easter Eggers. I usually get $25 out of the not as popular breeds, and $5 out of old chickens that don't lay anymore.

Well, if I were to sell one of my bantam Rosecombs or Silkies, I would ask for at least 25 to 30 dollars as they are purebred. (well all, except for Marsha she would sell for 30)

Depending on the time of year and the breed they can catch 15-20 each in my area. Something I have learned in putting many ads for layers, chicks and fertile eggs on CL, DO NOT allow people to haggle, Be honest and up front in your listing, be firm on your price, If you want give discounts for multiple sales that's great but DO NOT sell yourself short. You have taken the time to raise and feed these birds.

I had listed several 3.5 month old pullets for sale, I listed them for $8 each or 5 for $25. I had someone email me wanting to take all 12 but would only pay $3. each.. I refused and got a nasty Email from this person telling me that if I was selling then they must not mean that much and on and on... I didn't respond but sold all those pullets within 48 hours.
