How much do you spend on feed?

How much do you spend on feed? And what kind are you buying?

We are spending $31 for a 50 lb bag of organic starter/ grower (organic pride). It seems to last us about 6-8 weeks. Is this about average?

I spend about 16 dollars on a 40 pound bag of layer feed. (I usually need a new bag each two weeks.)
The good news is that my hens pay for themselves: (I sell my eggs,) so by the time I run out of a bag of layer feed, they have laid enough eggs for me to buy a new bag. It is awesome!
