How much does it cost to feed 15 ducks a week?

Well I have 68 ducks at home and go through 2-3 bags a week.. I feed my Adults chicken laying pellets.. and all my birds are in perfect health and feather? I also feed my ducklings flock raiser... I also give my ducks Puppy chow, each pen gets 1/2 a can of it every day. It is VERY good for them..

Also, another good feed.... Not sure you can get it there because I think its only in Ca? but King Show n Grow Pellets are GREAT for birds if you can find them...

Im not sure but I think I have purina here, if not I will ask them to order some, they dont mind doing that ;D and thanks guys.

I've got 42 ducks and 8 geese and spend $140 a month on feed. Then a bit more on treats and special feed.

Figure 1/2 pound per duck per day and get the price of the feed you want to do and do the math.

The more they can scrounge, the less feed they need, but the trade off is that when you let them out, the predators have access.

Duckgirl I feed all my adult ducks chicken layer pellets. Purina, nutrena, HMC. They all work fine and this is coming from somebody that has done it for years and tried lots of expensive duck feed and the chicken feed is every bit as good as the other products without the higher cost.. I feed my ducklings purina flock raiser and still some mazuri waterfowl starter. On a side note I have had more babies this way as opposed to the more exspensive brands such as Mazuri waterfowl breeder and maintaince. Hope this helps. I am feeding 80 ducks on 140 a month. 11 dollars a 50 lb bag
