what came first? the chicken or the egg.. Those Cx chicks, came from eggs-- and those eggs came from parental Cx birds.. Those parental Cx birds, were fed GMO grain and feeds-- which directly effects the Cx chicks you purchase.
It just goes to ask the question... how far back do these 'natural', 'organic', and 'home raised' people need to go?
I worked on an organic farm, while in college. On our land, we applied GMO fed hog manure, and GMO corn gluton feed= both as a direct N source. Now the question is- how is that possible...? the answer out inspector said it was ok...
I see no difference in this theory applying to organic chicken producers, who are buying their chicks, CX or any other kind. To the best of my knowledge, I have neve heard of an organic supplier of baby chicks, certified that is. The entire broiler industry is owned by about 3 corperations, so I doubt any of them will have a certified organic side. My question is, prior to those chicks hatching, there is no difference b/w how they and conventional birds are obtained..
This isn't aimed at you, personally... it's more question for the readers who are on here...
